I have a ways to go yet on getting everything completely in order; but, I think we can start using pack417.org as a means or communication right away. Currently the Calendar of Events is ready to go as are the Forums, Stories, Book Reviews, Movie Reviews, Chili Cook-Off Recipes and the Newsletter. Most everything else is at least partially done, including Photo Galleries, Blogs, Den Planners, Pack Planners, Popcorn Sales and a few other things. Don't be surprised if some of these don't work the way you expect. They will soon.

I'm hoping the site will be useful and fun. Den Leaders will probably find being able to plan their meetings online a help as well as the ability to have those meeting plans and notices go out automatically to all of their members a timesaver. I've included a "User Points" system to help encourage the scouts to get online and contribute. Each time they come to the site and contribute content, they will get points and be able to see where they are ranked with the rest of the pack.

Please let me know if there is anything you see that needs changing or needs to be added. I'm working on this as I have time and look forward to getting feedback.

I'll keep this thread up-to-date as I add functionality and fix bugs.
